While the The EXPED SIM COMFORT DLX May not make the cut for my next UltraLight trip, it will be mandatory anytime I have the room.
I'm not trying to say it's heavy for its size and comfort becuase it is very light for the comfort.
With a packed size 26x7" it's not a whole lot bigger than many 2" thick mid range insulated pads on the market and
it has made for the most comfortable nights rest both in a ground tent as well as in the back of a truck.
Bieng 26" wide is plenty wide for most rectangular and semi rectangular sleeping bags on the market and fits my personal sleeping platforms inside my Land Cruiser perfectly.

The DLX has large one way air valves that make quick work of filling and deflating , although with its light weight I often leave it inflated and can easily move it around when needed. The first time I rolled this pad I realized that you do need to take the time to fully compress the air out so it can be sliped into its storage sleeve.

The pad does include velcro running down both sides to conect as many pads as you desire. Now, the inportant part. It's 4 inches thick! This is comfort no matter where you sleep.
