There are a few choices for my '94 80 series Toyota Land Cruiser. There is the stock height springs and shocks to liven up these great 14yr+ old vehicles or for a minimal amount of lift (about 2") they offer quite a few variations depending on your intended use and load carrying needs. I chose the 850 front springs designed for added weight of a bull bar and winch. For the rear I chose the Heavy 863 springs designed for an added 400lbs due to the 4X4 Labs rear bumper/ tire carrier and added fuel and gear for longer range. They also offer softer and firmer rear springs.  The kit offered by Slee Offroad comes with a steering dampener and caster correction bushings. This kit is pretty straight forward to install except the caster correction bushing that require a 20 ton press. Slee offers installation for a very reasonable price as does Safari Ltd.

The newest addition to the Old Man Emu line up is the Nitro Charger Sport shocks. These have been designed for both on road and off road use and instantly adapt to the terrain. The high speed and low speed damping is greatly improved over both stock and the original NitroCharger shocks.

Overall, every vehicle that I have driven with Old Man Emu suspension has shown to handle much better than stock form.

The Bundu Box is a fantastic way to get yourself organized whether you are traveling across the world or loading up for a quick local camping trip. These Boxes are based on the classic design of South African Defense cases.
Now, there are a ton of ways to get gear into your vehicle. If you have done it enough times you have seen everything under the sun like I have. For some people grabbing a couple of Tupperware boxes is the first step. Tupperware boxes are for one, not square, nor do they keep out dust or even keep the lid on half the time if you put a tie down over them.

There is also the other Extreme. Products that are designed for all out abuse. Cases made by Pelican or Storm case will keep your most prized possessions dry and dust free even while being driven over by a Semi. This does come at a premium though. That cost is usually a couple hundred dollars per case.   This is where the Bundu Boxes find there home. They are square, inside and out, easy to pack and can accept tie down straps in many configurations. They also only cost $40 each.

With a long history of the original Wilderness backpacking boot from Merrell there seemed to be a lot of promise for a "New Edition".
As technology progresses so does the look and style of every product. The classic Welt boot construction is something of an anomaly.
The longevity of a hand crafted boot with sewn and glued soles is not to be messed with.
With the introduction of a new version that retains the original construction and appearance of a classic, I had hopes of modern technology in materials with
proven construction.
